A Jersey Shore landmark, Ichabod’s Bar & Grille on the beach in Sea Bright, is under new ownership. Part of their new beginning will include a revamping of the restaurant’s interior design that will be performed by Monmouth County builders, Hemphill Associates.

Ichabod’s opened in the 1970s and quickly became a popular pub among local residents. The new owners intend on building up their current popularity by revamping their look, food selections and happy hour offerings. Part of the interior re-design will include adding more windows and natural light as well as an area to host larger musical acts. The new renovations are expected to be complete in time for a summer re-grand opening party.

The new partnership between Ichabod’s and Hemphill Associates is another step in Hemphill’s ongoing success of providing custom design-build development projects for the restaurant industry. Hemphill Associates also renovated Hook Line and Sinker, now Undici, in Rumson and performs commercial construction as well.
